Classic Room · Rooms 104 & 105

A quiet double,
and the view it was built for.

Two rooms on the river side of the floor, both without air conditioning — the hill air and a ceiling fan do the work for most of the year. Room 104 takes a king bed and looks straight out over the Brahmaputra; room 105 is the corner room, a little snugger with a queen bed, and has the best outlook of any room we have.

Air-conditioned ease,
and the best of the light.

Three king-bed rooms, each air-conditioned, each finished with the backlit marble headboard that gives the floor its character. Rooms 101 and 102 look out across the hillside and the city; room 103 faces the river. Book these if you are travelling in the warmer months, or simply want the quiet of a sealed, cooled room at the end of a long day.

Family Room · Rooms 106 & 108

Room for four,
without splitting the party up.

Two rooms for families and groups travelling together, both sleeping four. Room 106 is the air-conditioned one: two king beds and the river straight ahead. Room 108 takes a king bed plus two singles — the easier shape if you are travelling with children or with parents — and runs on ceiling fans rather than air conditioning, which is reflected in the tariff.

Our largest room,
and our longest view.

Room 107 is the one guests ask for again. Two king beds with real distance between them, air conditioning, a generous attached bathroom, and windows that hold the Brahmaputra right across the frame. If you are travelling as a family and want space to spread out rather than step around each other, this is the room.
